Acceptance of these terms
RankedName is a naming due-diligence service operated by ALPHAOSCAR (EURL), a company registered in Paris, France. Throughout these terms, "RankedName", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company; "you" refers to the person or organisation placing an order.
By purchasing a report, submitting an enquiry, or otherwise using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you are ordering on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
The service and what you receive
A RankedName report is a bespoke, human-delivered digital service. For the niche you describe, we analyse real search demand, intent, competition and domain availability, then rank candidate names — brand or keyword — with a score out of 100 and a written verdict. Every report also includes a content blueprint: the demand map turned into the topics and pillars your site would need to rank.
Reports are prepared by a person, not generated automatically on checkout. Typical turnaround is communicated at the point of sale. Deliverables are informational research documents; they are not a registration, filing, or guarantee of any commercial outcome.
Pricing and payment
The report is priced and charged in US dollars ($99 at the time of writing) as a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge — you are never billed again unless you place a new order. Agencies and studios needing volume naming can request custom pricing.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
The re-run guarantee
Our method is only useful if it can find you a defensible angle. If we complete a report and conclude there is no viable naming or content angle for your niche, we will re-run the analysis for an adjacent angle or refined brief at no additional charge. The re-run consumes no extra credit.
This guarantee reflects our confidence in the work; it is not a promise that any specific name will be available, will rank, or will succeed commercially.
Report fee credited toward a build or content engagement
If, after receiving your report, you engage us to write the content or build the site the report recommends, the full fee you paid for that report is credited toward the price of that engagement. The credit applies to the report fee only and is agreed in writing as part of the separate engagement.
Refunds
A report is bespoke research produced specifically for your niche. Because the work is performed and delivered as a one-off digital service, sales are final once the completed report has been delivered to you.
Where the work has not yet begun, contact us and we will assess a refund in good faith. And in every case the re-run guarantee above applies: if the finished report finds no viable angle, we re-run it free rather than leave you without value. By ordering a bespoke digital service and asking us to begin, you acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal, where one would otherwise apply, ends once the service has been fully performed.
Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate information about your niche and to use the deliverables lawfully. You may not use the service to research names that infringe a third party's trademark or other rights, to pursue any unlawful purpose, or to resell or redistribute our reports as a competing product.
We may decline or cancel an order — refunding any amount paid for work not yet delivered — where a request is unlawful, abusive, or outside the scope of the service.
Intellectual property
The specific recommendations, scores, name shortlist and content blueprint delivered in your report are yours to use for your business without further permission from us.
RankedName retains all rights in the underlying methods, scoring models, templates, data sources and know-how used to produce reports. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of those methods, and you may not reverse-engineer or repackage them.
Disclaimer
A RankedName report is informed opinion backed by data — not legal, trademark, financial or professional advice. Search markets and domain availability change, and no analysis can guarantee that a name will remain available, will rank, or will perform commercially.
Before committing to a name, registering a domain, or trading under it, you should carry out (or commission) a proper trademark search and take independent legal advice. You remain responsible for your final naming decision.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a report is limited to the amount you paid us for that report. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or the cost of rebranding.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of France, and any dispute relating to them or to a report will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
